Based on the ongoing preparation of the annual report 2017, Axzon expects to realise its revenue guidance of DKK 1.6-1.7 billion, whereas the Group’s EBITDA margin will be slightly below the previously expected 27-28% range for the full-year.

According to preliminary unaudited figures, the Group’s revenue grew 11% to DKK 1,653 million (2016: DKK 1,494 million) and EBITDA increased significantly to about DKK 426 million corresponding to 25.8% (2016: 21.9%).

“We were pleased with Axzon’s positive business development during the year and the fact that we delivered record financial performance in 2017. Production efficiency remained strong in the last quarter of the year, and the adverse effect on the Group’s financials was due to declining market prices on live pigs and fair value adjustment of our pig herd at year-end,” says CEO Tom Axelgaard.

The annual report 2017 and outlook for 2018 will be published on 28 February 2018.
