Phoenix, ATL Continues Philanthropic Effort

Atlanta GA, Feb. 14, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- According to the “Annual Report on Philanthropy” published by ‘Giving USA’, the charitable donations given by individuals and corporations nationally during this past holiday season totaled $390 billion. Phoenix, ATL has surely done their part through the holiday season and plans to continue their good deeds well into the new year.

The company has worked with over 15 local and national outreach programs including Toys for Tots, the Ark Animal Hospital, 7 Bridges to Recovery, Wings for Wishes and the Atlanta Community Food Bank.

“Some of Phoenix’s most recent philanthropic efforts,” explains Director of Operations, CJ Young, “Involved helping Puerto Rico and Houston Relief Project. The devastation caused in those areas is absolutely heart wrenching. All of us here at Phoenix were eager to pitch in and help out any way we could.”

The company’s internal associates gathered food, house hold and every day supplies as well as clothes, blankets, and much more over the course of two weeks.

“I was, and still am incredibly proud of the generosity of our team. The amount of charitable donations accumulated in that short amount of time was remarkable. It really says a lot about the character of each and every one of our associates,” says CJ.

Phoenix’s helping hand stretches far past national disaster relief as the team hopes to bring a bit of happiness and light to families battling childhood illness. Each year, Phoenix, ATL donates generously to St. Jude Children’s hospital. This year though, the company has set their sights on a more personal approach.

In the upcoming months, the Phoenix team will visit some of the children and families at a local hospital with hopes of providing some laughs, great company and a short distraction from daily struggles.

CJ explains, “I believe it is incredibly important for our organization as a whole to create lasting community ties. We will continue to do our part, giving back to our neighbors as best we can throughout the year. My annual goal is to take our philanthropic efforts to the next level, and this year is the year of ‘making it personal’.”
