CARMICHAELS, Pa., May 17, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CB Financial Services, Inc. (the “Company”) (NASDAQ:CBFV), the holding company for Community Bank (the “Bank”), today announced that at the close of business this Friday, May 18TH, the former employees of Progressive Bank N.A. (“Progressive Bank”), now employees of Community Bank, will be working after hours to officially convert the offices and customer accounts of the former Progressive Bank to those of Community Bank. This conversion follows the April 30TH closing of the merger of Community Bank and Progressive Bank.
By the time the Bank opens for business on Monday, May 21, 2018, all eight offices of the former Progressive Bank will be sporting Community Bank signage. During the weekend, all Progressive offices will be closed to permit the employees to integrate the backroom operations and computer systems of both banks. To assist customers with the weekend closing of branches, all Progressive ATMs will be open and completely converted to the Community Bank system by the end of business of May 18TH. Progressive customers can use their Progressive ATM/debit cards throughout the weekend and up until Monday, May 21ST at 9 a.m., at which time the Community Bank ATM/debit cards that have already been distributed to Progressive customers will become activated for customer use. The cards will work at ATMs located at former Progressive Bank offices as well as legacy Community Bank offices. Following conversion, customers of the former Progressive Bank will be able to write checks on either Community Bank or Progressive Bank checks. Progressive customers will be able to use Community Bank’s internet banking application, as their financial information will now appear on Community Bank’s systems. All of these changes will be explained by the same employees that have always worked at the Progressive offices.
