Aimed at professional users, FileZilla Pro launched 17 years after the original FileZilla project was first distributed for free under the GPL Open Source license.

Key Milestones
A substantial milestone was the inclusion of FileZilla Pro in the Mac Apple Store, which now accounts for approximately two-thirds of total sales.
