Advantech will showcase its latest collaboration with Microsoft, Intel, Hitachi and BTI – and will debut a new 30-Day Smart Sensor Program. In an effort to support worker safety through the IoT – Advantech, Microsoft, Intel, Hitachi, and BTI have combined their technologies to develop a Worker Safety IoT solution ready platform (SRP). Integrating new LPWAN protocol and stack call MIOTY to Advantech’s Intel-based edge device, this SRP utilizes Microsoft Azure’s IoT Hub cloud service; adding in Hitachi Analytic SaaS for further data reporting and visualization. The Worker Safety SRP can be broadly adopted across vertical markets and has immediate application where worker/user conditions require monitoring.

In addition, Advantech will be participating in the IoT Connectivity Ecosystem panel on Wednesday, June 27 at 1:15 p.m. to discuss the concept of the intelligent edge and where it is defined.
