Xavier University Athletics Partners With Paciolan

Ticketing & Marketing Solutions Will Help XU Build Deeper Fan Relationships

IRVINE, Calif., June 27, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Paciolan, the leading provider of ticketing, fundraising, marketing and analytics solutions for college athletics, has entered into a partnership with Xavier University Athletics. The Musketeers men’s basketball team, 29-6 overall and the 2018 BIG EAST Conference Regular Season Champion this past season, has played in five straight NCAA Tournaments, including 12 in the last 13 years. The Musketeers, a No. 1 seed in the 2018 NCAA Tournament, advanced to the 2017 NCAA Elite Eight.

Paciolan will provide a cohesive integration between ticketing and fundraising, strengthening donor relationships and offering efficient donation processing through the Xavier Athletics website. Paciolan’s integrated online fundraising tool will provide staff with instant access to information, including account data, donor touch points, ticketing and parking information, donation summaries, transaction history, membership levels and more.

With Access Management, Xavier University will enable Musketeers fans to purchase mobile tickets, scan at the gate with their smart phone, and manage their accounts directly from their mobile device. This also makes it easy to transfer or resell tickets if they cannot attend a game.

“Our new partnership with Paciolan is exciting news for us and our fans,” said Brian Hicks, Associate Athletics Director for External Relations for Xavier University. “The Paciolan Platform provides an improved experience for fans purchasing and managing their tickets. It also gives us the opportunity to send more personalized communications, hopefully leading to deeper relationships with fans.”

With this partnership, Xavier University will utilize Paciolan’s FanOne Marketing Automation technologies for a holistic solution to better serve Musketeers fans. The Marketing Automation solution enables Xavier Athletics to communicate directly with fans about information in which they’ve shown an interest. The system provides the ability to schedule automated emails to fans with information that may interest them based on their web traffic on the athletics website, as well as additional reminder communications if they leave tickets in their shopping carts. The marketing automation solution will enable Xavier University to send targeted, personalized messages to strengthen relationships while driving ticket sales.

Paciolan’s partnership and integration with StubHub will enable Xavier’s season ticket holders to sell unused tickets, and provide valuable fan and pricing data to Xavier athletics. StubHub’s presence as the world’s largest ticket marketplace combined with Paciolan’s primary ticketing capabilities provides the best-in-class integrated primary and secondary ticketing solution.

“We are excited to provide Xavier University and Musketeers fans with a world-class experience,” said Paciolan President and CEO Kim Damron. “With Paciolan’s cutting-edge solutions, Xavier will have access to more fan data than ever before, enabling the university to make clear, data-driven business decisions and foster deep connections with fans.”

Xavier University has a longstanding multimedia rights partnership with Learfield.
