Notification of Retirement of Director

Further to the annual general meeting documentation published on 23 April, 2018, in which Mr Nicolas Wirz indicated his intention to retire as a director of the Company with effect from the conclusion of the annual general meeting ("AGM") held today, 29 June, 2018, Mr Wirz has now retired and did not seek re-election. The Board thanks Mr Wirz for his years of service and contributions to the Company and wishes him well.
Following Mr Wirz's retirement, the Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs Sylvie Sauton as a non-executive director of the Company effective 29 June, 2018. Mrs Sauton will hold office until the next annual general meeting, at which meeting she will stand for re-election.
Mrs Sauton has thirty years experience as an investment banker for Salomon Brothers, Lehman Brothers and JP Morgan for whom she was, for the last ten years, a managing director.
Mr Andrew Henton, Chairman of the Company said: "The Board of Boussard & Gavaudan Holding Limited is delighted that Mrs Sylvie Sauton has agreed to become a director of the Company. Her extensive experience in investment banking equips her to be a valuable addition to the Board."
