ER2 Image Group Relocates Operations to New Facility

HANOVER PARK, Ill., July 02, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ER2 Image Group, a leader in full-service grand format printing, announced today the relocation of their business and production facilities to a new space at 4350 Chandler Dr. in Hanover Park, IL. A five minute drive from ER2’s current location, the new domicile covers almost 35,000 square feet, with over 20,000 square feet devoted to production space. The company will be moving its three facilities, 55 employees and over 8 grand format devices under one roof for the first time in over 10 years.

“Our business has been growing so fast that we simply outgrew our old buildings. Working under three roofs had its challenges. Moving all our production space to one building was clearly the best option for us,” said Gary C. Schellerer, ER2’s COO/VP of Operations while explaining the move. “We also saw relocation as a great opportunity to redesign the lay out of our equipment, staff and process for maximum efficiency.” Operations will be revamped as well. “We are using concepts from standard lean manufacturing techniques to increase output and ensure control of end product quality.”

The additional 20,000 square feet of production space is allowing for substantial investment into new cutting edge production equipment to serve clients better. “To integrate our design and production processes, we are also purchasing some of the most advanced and fast IT infrastructure to future proof our technology,” Schellerer said.
