What’s In Your Wallet? Transparency, Innovation, and Total Focus on Customer Service

C-Suite TV’s Executive Perspectives Live premieres new episode featuring Greg Chalker, Head of Emerging Channels, Capital One Spark Business Card

NEW YORK, July 05, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Executive Perspectives Live, one of the top online business shows on C-Suite TV, is adding a new episode to its lineup. The new episode features Greg Chalker, Head of Emerging Channels, Capital One Spark Business Card, talking about the changes taking place in the banking industry since people aren’t banking the same way they used to.

The banking industry is known for being highly regulated and rigid in its ways. However, times are changing and customers are demanding these giant institutions pay attention to them and Capital One is listening to those demands. Chalker sat down with host Jeffrey Hayzlett to discuss the changes taking place in the industry as well as how a bank can come from almost nowhere to become a well known international name in a short amount of time.

In order to fulfill their customers’ needs, Chalker tells Hayzlett about the two things his team primarily focuses on: person-to-person marketing channels and business development/partnerships. Innovation and technology has made it possible to deliver a high level of transparency to customers as well as take care of their needs with programs such as the “surprise delight” program. This initiative empowers the customer service team to exceed expectations, go above and beyond and focus on “first call resolution.”

Chalker added that, “Technology is at the core of how customers want to interact” and that Capital One’s main focus is ‘doing the right thing.’ So much so that they view regulation as a good thing for the banking industry because it helps people who are doing the right things stand out from those who aren’t.

All episodes of Executive Perspectives Live are hosted by Jeffrey Hayzlett and can be seen throughout the month on C-Suite TV.

Best-selling author, speaker, and former Fortune 100 CMO Jeffrey Hayzlett created C-Suite TV to give top-tier business executives a forum for sharing thought-provoking insights, in-depth business analysis, and their compelling personal narratives.

“One thing that struck me about this interview is how fleet of foot and streamlined Capital One is run. For an industry that is known for being highly regulated, the focus on transparency, innovation, and the customer should be imitated by other entities,” Hayzlett said. “Also, I couldn’t pass up the chance to ask Greg ‘what’s in your wallet?”
