Security Innovation to Sponsor the First Blockchain Seattle Conference

Company’s solutions help organizations determine if Blockchain is right for them and how to implement it securely; Upcoming trainings also set for TruffleCon, AppSec USA and Black Hat Europe

Wilmington, MA , Aug. 15, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Security Innovation, a pioneer in software security assessment and training, today announced it will sponsor Blockchain Conference Seattle 2018 on August 21st.  Attendees of the conference will have the opportunity to meet with Blockchain expert Mick Ayzenberg for hands-on training with Security Innovation’s free Blockchain CTF “learn by doing” platform, the first-of-its-kind for Smart Contracts.

People interested in learning more can stop by the Security Innovation booth or email info@securityinnovation.com to schedule a meeting.

Blockchain CTF was developed as part of the company’s continued investment in simulation platforms for the most effective way to build skills, practice situational awareness, and assess readiness to defend the enterprise.  The engineers at Security Innovation are fluent in Blockchain technology, including Smart Contracts, Decentralized Apps (DApps), Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAGs), On-chain and Off-chain scaling solutions, or novel privacy techniques.

“With the growth of Blockchain technology comes a new model for thinking of security.  As with the adoption of any new technology, Blockchain brings new organizational risk, making it important for all stakeholders to have a clear understanding of internal capabilities to be able to handle it securely,” explains Mick Ayzenberg.  “Blockchain CTF helps risk and business teams assess their readiness, and learn how to identify and prevent common vulnerabilities in Smart Contracts and DApps.”

Security Innovation offers a variety of services and solutions to help companies as they evaluate and begin working with Blockchain, including:

  • Blockchain Workshopsled by Blockchain experts, these half day sessions are ideal for technical executives who need expert guidance on security and business implications of Blockchain
  • Blockchain Technical Trainings – These two-day courses examine methodologies used when developing smart contracts for Blockchain enabled Decentralized Applications (DApps), and  leverage a “capture the flag” platform for practical simulation
  • Technical Assessments – Security Innovation experts provide organizations with Smart Contract Code Review, Integration Testing, and Blockchain Design and Code Review.

In-depth Blockchain security trainings are also planned for attendees of TruffleCon 2018 from October 3-5 in Portland, OR; AppSec USA from October 8-10 in San Jose, CA; and Black Hat Europe from December 3-4 in London, UK.
