The new design and feature rollout comes on the heels of Bitbuy.ca hiring Chris Swick, a UX/UI expert with over 12 years of experience in building some of Canada’s most intuitive online products. Swick most recently worked at Cossette Communications, building products for the government, enterprise and education industries.
Bitbuy.ca’s new express e-transfer feature, available Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm, will be especially useful for those looking to deploy funds into the cryptocurrency market extremely quickly. For a 3.5% deposit fee, express e-transfers will be processed and credited to user’s account within 2 hours of receiving guaranteed. If the e-Transfer is not deposited within 2 hours, no fees are applied.
“With the cryptocurrency market moving so quickly, our customers want to be able to deposit and withdraw Canadian dollars without delay. Our aim is to be the fastest and simplest platform in Canada,” says Dean Skurka, VP of Finance at Bitbuy. “Due to increased demand from customers, we decided to step up and create a new 2-hour guaranteed express e-transfer deposit method.” With this new change, standard e-transfer rates have dropped from 2% to 1.75%.
