MIDWEST CITY, Okla., Sept. 17, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Temperatures may be cooling down but Midwest City’s restaurant scene is heating up! Blaze Fast-Fire’d Pizza, the recognized leader in fast, artisanal pizza, will open this Thursday, September 20th, in Town Center Plaza at 7201 SE. 29th St. across from the Tinker Air Force Base. To celebrate, the new Blaze Pizza will offer free pizzas to anyone who follows Blaze on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or Snapchat on Friday, September 21st from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
The Midwest City Blaze Pizza has created 50 local jobs and is proudly owned and operated by Oklahomans, including Dominic Flis and David Ostrowe, two veterans and former Navy pilots. This is the second Blaze Pizza in the Oklahoma City area. The first location opened in 2015 at 2410 W. Memorial Road. Blazing Partners, the franchisee developing the concept throughout the Sooner State, also operates two locations in Tulsa and two locations in Arkansas. The new 2,400-square-foot restaurant includes seating for nearly 50 and hours of operation are 10:00 am to 10:00 pm daily.
Blaze Pizza serves up artisanal pies that are both fast and affordable. Each restaurant features an interactive open kitchen format that allows guests to customize one of the menu’s generously-sized, personal signature pizzas - or create their own - all for around $8. Every pizza boasts made-from-scratch dough crafted in-house daily, all-natural meats and vegetables, and is finished in an open-flame oven that cooks pizzas in just three minutes. For guests with special dietary needs, Blaze offers gluten-free dough, vegan cheese, and tree-nut free pesto. The location will also offer a selection of wine and beer.
