AUBURN, Ky., Oct. 04, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Champion Petfoods has expanded its lineup of ACANA Singles limited ingredient dog food, introducing two entirely new flavors and enhancing the recipes in its three existing formulas. Each of the five ACANA Singles foods now contain 60 percent meat, providing a Biologically Appropriate, protein-rich food option. Plus, with each ACANA Singles flavor featuring just a single-animal protein, this line is an ideal option for dogs with food sensitivities.
Champion Petfoods believes limited ingredients shouldn’t mean compromising on meat, flavor or quality. Formulas are exclusively prepared with regionally sourced ingredients, such as Muscovy duck and Yorkshire pork, in Champion’s award-winning Kentucky DogStar Kitchen.
The two new ACANA Singles flavors are:
- ACANA Turkey & Greens – made with fresh free-run turkey and Kentucky greens.
- ACANA Beef & Pumpkin – made with fresh Angus beef and pumpkin.
The three enhanced ACANA flavors have been reformulated to feature 60 percent meat (a 10 percent increase from the previous formulas), a shorter, cleaner ingredient panel, and a decrease in carbohydrates.
- ACANA Lamb & Apple – made with fresh grass-fed lamb and Red Delicious apples.
- ACANA Pork & Squash – made with fresh Yorkshire pork and butternut squash.
- ACANA Duck & Pear – made with fresh free-run duck and Bartlett pears.
