ISELIN, N.J., Oct. 10, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- UBM Life Sciences Group’s Pharmaceutical Executive announced honorees of the 2018 Emerging Pharma Leaders awards program as it prepared to recognize the group of 10 up-and-coming professionals in its October issue.
This year marked the tenth year that Pharmaceutical Executive elevated individuals exhibiting knowledge, skills and other qualities to make tough decisions facing manufacturers today.
"In the pharmaceutical industry, we can see more clearly than ever in this year’s annual Emerging Pharma Leaders selections that the industry is changing with the times,” said Lisa Henderson, editor-in-chief of Pharmaceutical Executive. “This year features more titles that didn’t exist five years ago, and more diverse paths these professionals took to get to their current position.”
Pharmaceutical Executive received more than 100 nominations for the award between April and June. It made its final 10 selections through a blinded process by three members of the Pharmaceutical Executive Editorial Advisory Board and a previous Emerging Pharma Leaders honoree. Judging criteria was based on current role, progression of career, education and extracurricular activities to enhance leadership, and specific case examples.
