Dr. Pettine is a pioneer in the study of regenerative medicine, holding the only Stem Cell methods patent procedure in the nation. His ongoing research in the study of stem cells has led him to focus on the Mesenchymal Stem Cell (MSC) which regulates the body’s immune system, releasing both growth factors and inhibitors.

Dr. Pettine’s career has seen him honored among the top 50 Spine and Specialist Surgeons in the United States. Dr. Pettine, now retired, explains his latest mission in healing, I welcome each of you to become informed regarding mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) so you can make important decisions to help heal yourself and avoid orthopedic and spine surgery. My professional undertaking is to change the current standard of care for orthopedic and spine surgery in the United States through the growing body of research which proves the efficacy of utilizing MSCs to treat various orthopedic and spine pathology and avoid surgery. My mission is to inform patients about the mesenchymal stem cell and its potential for treating numerous orthopedic and spine conditions, with the ultimate goal of decreasing your pain and increasing your function.”

Recently retired, Dr. Pettine is dedicated to stem cell research and therapy. His focus is on the multipotent adult stem cells of human bone marrow, known as Mesenchymal stem cells. These stem cells are capable of discerning ligament, tendon, bone, and cartilage cells, making them ideal for orthopedic stem cell therapy. Dr. Pettine and his research team’s ongoing research demonstrate how these cells can help those suffering from orthopedic issues of the spine, shoulder, knee, hip, and more via injection to facilitate repair. The latest publications share the results of the Pettine’s team’s studies and the non-surgical stem cell therapies he believes will be more prevalent in the near future.
