United Rail, Inc. Announces Installation of its United Rail Precision Railroading into U S Rail Subsidiary

LAS VEGAS, NV , Oct. 24, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via NEWMEDIAWIRE – United Rail, Inc. (OTCPK: URAL) announced today that it has begun to install its unique United Rail Precision Railroading on its operating railroads. The first installation of the on-time Precision Railroading is the Winamac Southern Railway in Kokomo, IN. The efficient delivery and freight scheduling first put into service on the Illinois Central Railroad by United Rail Director of Rail Operations John McPherson, is an innovative scheduling and on-time delivery process which increases efficiency on rail shipping. Several Class 1 Railroads have recently adopted the United Rail Precision Railroading including CSX and Union Pacific. United Rail is the first short line operator to install Precision Railroading on the smaller short line railroads.

The Company already has an active pipeline of over 200 short line railroads which it draws from its insurance customers of United Short Line Insurance Services. “We feel the installation of our United Rail Precision Railroading on short lines will be welcomed by the larger railroads we interchange with, thus increasing efficiency for all parties,” said Michael Barron, CEO of United Rail.

John McPherson, Director of Rail Operations for United Rail and creator of the Precision Railroading, said, “Most small short line railroads are owned and run by individuals and not by large corporations. They don’t have the resources or technology to deploy this type of scheduling on their lines.  As a result, many short lines operate at less than peak efficiency and lower than optimal operating margins.  All parties benefit from on time scheduled delivery.”
