Ramirent's brand redesign supports the company's growth strategy

As one of the market leaders in Europe within equipment rental, Ramirent and its brand is associated with high quality and safety. With its redesigned brand image, launched officially today, Ramirent aims at becoming a more attractive choice especially for its small and medium-sized customers. At the same time, the company further strengthens its position as its large customers' supplier of choice. The renewed brand also reflects Ramirent's ambition to improve its service levels by building the industry's most efficient supply chain.
                                                                                                
"Ramirent is a very strong player - among our large customers in particular - and we intend to remain so. However, we want to be better at being the preferred choice also for our small and medium-sized customers by providing them outstanding customer service. Our brand positioning emphasizes our new mission to provide smooth service with a smile. That is what the name Ramirent should in the future stand for," says Tapio Kolunsarka, Ramirent's President and CEO.

Equipment rental at your service

The renewing brand takes inspiration from being straightforward and keeping it simple. Working with award winning, Swedish NoA Agency, Ramirent invited its customers and employees play a central role in the design and strategy work behind the new brand positioning.

"The aim of the project was not to create a radical change, but rather to clarify what the company is today. The modern brand image honors Ramirent's history but it has been optimized especially from a digital perspective. The end-result is already visible on our renewed website ramirent.com. The new brand image will be introduced in all our operating countries from autumn 2018 onwards," says Terhi Jokinen, Ramirent's Group Communication Manager.

Through the brand repositioning Ramirent will further clarify its role as a service company providing equipment. It also introduces a new tagline: "Gear up".

"With the new tagline we want to make it clear on how we through our long experience, wide range of equipment and related services enable customers to gear up in many aspects - upgrade on safety and efficiency in their daily work."

Ramirent's share trading code changed to RAMI

As identifier for Ramirent's product and service names, the prefix "RAMI" is also introduced as Ramirent's share trading code. The change of Ramirent's trading code from RMR1V to RAMI is valid in the Nasdaq Helsinki's INET trading system as from 7 November 2018. At the same time company's issuer code has been changed from RMR to RAMI.
