Visible Alpha Appoints Chief Revenue Officer

New York, Dec. 13, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Visible Alpha today announced the appointment of Rodney Pedersen as the firm’s new chief revenue officer (CRO). Pedersen joins Visible Alpha shortly after the hiring of Mark Hale as COO in September, rounding out the leadership team and building on the momentum of the past year. Recognized recently by WatersTechnology as the ‘Most Innovative Technology Vendor,’ the company helps firms discover ideas through its flagship deep consensus platform and track and value research for MiFID II compliance.

Pedersen joins Visible Alpha following a 14-year career at FactSet, where he established a distinguished career in sales, including founding and managing the company’s Americas Hedge Funds team. Additionally, he served as SVP, Senior Director of Data Strategy, responsible for optimizing and expanding FactSet’s data portfolio to meet enterprise business objectives.

As Visible Alpha’s CRO, Pedersen will be leading sales, client success and marketing with responsibility for meeting the company’s revenue and client satisfaction targets in the U.S. and Europe and for spearheading the company’s global expansion.

“We are thrilled to have Rodney on the Visible Alpha team,” said Scott Rosen, CEO of Visible Alpha. “Rodney’s track record for growing and supporting large client bases and his deep understanding of the investment research space make him a perfect fit for this role. Visible Alpha just had its strongest ever sales quarter, and we look forward to having Rodney build on that momentum globally.”

“I’m excited for this opportunity given the incredible reputation Visible Alpha has built for delivering and supporting such advanced investment research solutions,” Pedersen commented. “I’m looking forward to helping Visible Alpha further scale the business and ensuring the highest levels of client loyalty and satisfaction.”
