Dana Holdings wins a spot in the World Finance 100 for excellence in real estate

LONDON, Jan. 28, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- One of Europe’s leading investment and construction companies, Dana Holdings, has secured a place in the World Finance 100, a collection of 100 companies and individuals that have achieved remarkable success in their respective industries.

Dana Holdings was recognised for the role it has played in reshaping the real estate sector in Central and Eastern Europe through its ambitious construction projects. The company is especially well known for its ‘city within a city’ multifunctional residential complexes.

To date, the company’s largest construction project also happens to be the biggest single development project in the whole of Europe: Minsk World. Located in the centre of Minsk in Belarus, work on the three million sq m complex began in 2017. The sprawling site will include an international financial centre, which is poised to be a game-changer for the country’s economy.

In 2018, Dana Holdings also began working on a new complex in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, called Tesla Park. In this project, Dana Holdings has identified a segment of the market that is currently open for development: property functionality and smart apartment design. Once complete, the complex will also include social facilities, schools and sports centres.

Going forward, Dana Holdings is set to begin the two million sq m development of a new complex in the Serbian capital of Belgrade in 2019, called Tesla City, in the hopes of transforming the city into a key economic player in Central Europe.

Dana Holdings has been celebrated in the 2018 World Finance 100 because its complexes go beyond those of typical construction projects to revitalise the cities in which they are built. To see the World Finance 100 list in full, head online or pick up the latest issue of the magazine.
