Micronotes Names Regina Pisa to Advisory Board

Chairman Emeritus of Goodwin will advise AI leader on regulatory compliance

BOSTON, Feb. 06, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Micronotes, the leading provider of AI-driven marketing automation for banking, today announced the appointment of Regina M. Pisa to the company’s advisory board.

Pisa, chairman emeritus of Goodwin, a leading Global 50 law firm, has deep expertise in financial services and compliance. She has provided legal counsel to many well-known banks and investment companies, and also served previously as a director of Citizens Financial Group.

“As artificial intelligence becomes mainstream in banking over the next five years, it is critical to our clients’ success that our platform continues its evolution in compliance with current and forecast regulations,” said Devon Kinkead, founder and CEO of Micronotes. “We’re excited to welcome Regina Pisa to our advisory board to help us navigate the changing regulatory landscape. Regina’s experience and stellar reputation in banking, regulation, and business speak for themselves and we look forward to having her as a resource.”

Pisa led Goodwin as chairman for more than 16 years through 2014 and as managing partner through 2012. She was the first woman to lead an AmLaw 100 firm in the U.S., and one of the youngest when appointed managing partner at age 42.

“The banking industry is moving rapidly in many directions, but none is moving faster than the adoption of innovative new technologies designed to help financial institutions retain customers and grow their businesses,” said Pisa. “No technology is more exciting and has greater potential to transform banking than artificial intelligence. I’m honored to join the Micronotes team to provide guidance on how to successfully navigate the complexities of regulatory compliance in banking.”
