Shift Transit Expands Executive Team

Hires Head of Business Development and Strategy

Chicago, IL, March 04, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) --
Today, Shift Transit, a leading mobility operations and management company with headquarters in Chicago, IL, announced the appointment of Josh Moskowitz as Head of Business Development and Strategy. Moskowitz will focus on continuing to expand Shift’s strong presence in both the bike and car share spaces, while also expanding Shift’s portfolio into new mobility verticals.

“I am thrilled Josh has decided to join the team at Shift Transit,” said Eddie Inlow, Shift Transit’s CEO. “With almost a decade of experience in the mobility industry, including leading one of the country’s largest bikesharing systems and overseeing car2go’s expansion into six different markets in North America, Josh is extremely well-positioned to steer Shift Transit’s growth to new heights. Most importantly, Josh exudes the values and core mission of Shift Transit: modernizing the way we get around cities while delivering a top shelf product, service, and client experience whether in the public or private sector.”

Prior to joining Shift, Moskowitz spent more than six years at car2go N.A., LLC, where he had several roles, including management responsibility for five car2go locations, product marketing, and business development for the Eastern Region of North America. Prior to that, he was Program Manager for the Capital Bikeshare program in Washington, DC, where he oversaw system operations and market development.

“I’m very excited to join such a driven and innovative company,” said Moskowitz. “I’ve been very impressed with Shift Transit’s growth trajectory in such a short period of time and am honored to lead their ambitious plans for expansion moving forward.”

Moskowitz will also work closely with Shift Transit bike share partner, PBSC Urban Solutions, the Montreal-based firm that provides world-class bicycle systems including bicycles, stations, and software. Shift Transit and PBSC currently partner in Toronto, Detroit, Chattanooga and Tucson.
