Today, 6 March 2019, the Financial Conduct Authority of the UK approved the change in ownership of GAMMA Capital Management Ltd., a UK subsidiary of GAMMA Capital Management hf. (GAMMA). This change in ownership is a consequence of Kvika banki hf.´s (Kvika) acquisition of GAMMA.
With reference to Kvika´s announcement earlier today regarding the approval of the Icelandic Competition Authority of the acquisition, it can be concluded in accordance with the purchase agreement. It has to be noted that one selling party to the agreement, an owner of 3,85%, signed the agreement conditionally. At this time Kvika is therefore acquiring 96,15% of issued share capital in GAMMA.
