A further candidate nominated for the Board of Directors
The Board of Directors of Danske Bank A/S nominates Bente Avnung Landsnes as candidate for the Board of Directors in addition to the candidates already nominated. More information is available in company announcement no. 5 dated 21 February 2019, which contains the agenda and the complete proposals.
Becoming the first female CEO of Oslo Børs ASA in 2006, Bente Avnung Landsnes will retire from this position on in April this year together with the appertaining directorships. She will also leave her directorship with BITS AS. Bente Avnung Landsnes has broad banking experience, having worked many years with operations and IT in particular. Her work experience includes a DNB group management position with responsibility for IT and payment services.
“Bente Avnung Landsnes has extensive experience and deep competencies from the financial sector in Norway, where she has worked with capital markets and digital transformation, and I am confident that Bente Avnung Landsnes will be able to bring these into play on the Board of Directors and in this way contribute to developing Danske Bank going forward,” says Karsten Dybvad, Chairman of the Board of Directors.
