Dallas, Texas, March 14, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Dallas based watch company, Jack Mason, designed a custom watch for the cast of The Highwaymen, a new Netflix film about two Texas Rangers who join forces to capture the notorious Bonnie and Clyde.
At the film premiere’s after party on March 10th in Austin, Texas, the custom Jack Mason watches were gifted to the star-studded cast including Woody Haralson and Kevin Costner. Jack Mason also provided a selection of watches for the speakeasy themed South by Southwest experience, where attendees took part in different activations to earn points that could be spent in the General Store.
The vintage inspired design is based on the brand’s Field watch and introduces 1930s style elements like the gold-plated case and embossed lizard texture leather strap.
“The Field watch is our version of the classic camp watch. We chose this watch as the base because it has a simple design and takes inspiration from vintage watches. The case style also meshes well with the rugged environment surrounding Texas Rangers,” said Colin Curry, Senior Designer at Jack Mason.
Other design features include period style hands and dial design combining vintage colored luminous and sunray silver white. The brands signature lone star crown and custom caseback designs are exhibited with the Texas Rangers star and the film’s logo etched into the caseback.
