TORONTO, March 18, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Gravitas Financial Inc. (CSE: GFI) (“Gravitas”) announced that Ernie Eves and Gerry Goldberg have resigned from the company’s board of directors. Mr. Eves has been a director and the Chair of Gravitas since June 2013. Mr. Goldberg has been a director since May 2016 and was chair of the audit committee. Gravitas thanks Mr. Eves and Mr. Goldberg for their contribution to the company.
Gravitas is undertaking a strategic review with a view to strengthening its operations. The review seeks to streamline operations and create a leaner, stronger company with strengthened financial results. The company is looking for board members who can assist in the next phase of its evolution. This process has already begun with the appointment of Lawrence Xing to the board of directors, announced on February 25, 2019.
