The Second-Annual List of Leading Female Executives in Cannabis Culminates with a Celebration this Friday
Los Angeles, March 29, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- High Times, cannabis’ most well-known brand, today announced its second annual ‘Women of Weed’ Power Players list. Honoring the women leading the cannabis movement forward, the selection compiles executives from across the cannabis landscape, from cultivation through distribution.
Conceived to celebrate the female executives driving this industry forward, and the beacon of inclusion this inspires, this collection of honorees strives to uplift those leading the way not only for their brands, but for female executives and entrepreneurs everywhere.
The Women of Weed honorees are nominated by High Times pool of writers and editors for their notable achievements as executives in the space. The nominations were compiled due to the honoree’s leadership, stature and advancements within the cannabis industry, most notably focusing on how these individuals are leading the push for social justice, and helping the larger community forward. These women have fought for acceptance, equality, scientific and criminal reform, all while building brands and innovating the industry around them.

About the Event:
The High Times’ Women of Weed event, taking place on the 29th of March, will celebrate the many female founders and executives driving the business of Cannabis, and encourage collaboration across those female-lead brands and groups.
