Today Orkuveita Reykjavíkur‘s (OR; Reykjavík Energy) annual general meeting was held. These will be on OR’s Board of Directors: Brynhildur Davídsdóttir, chairperson, Gylfi Magnússon, vice-chair, Sigrídur Rut Júlíusdóttir, Hildur Björnsdóttir, Kjartan Magnusson, and Valgardur Lyngdal Jónsson. Attending representative is Halldóra Lóa Thorvaldsdóttir. The meeting resolved to pay a dividend of ISK 1,500 million, provided that the company‘s financial dividends conditions be met, before and after the payment.
OR Annual Report 2018 was presented at the meeting. The report is an interactive, web-based, integrated report, covering environmental, social, and financial aspects of OR group’s operations as well as its governance. The report and OR’s annual consolidated financial statements 2018 were published March 14th 2019. The financial statements were approved by the general meeting.

The general meeting resolved to hire Grant Thornton as the company’s audit firm.
OR is owned by three municipalities; The City of Reykjavík, (93.539%), The Township of Akranes (5.528%), and the Municipality of Borgarbyggd (0.933%).
