BOSTON, April 24, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Jobcase (www.jobcase.com), the social platform for the future of work, today announced the appointment of Beth Clymer as the company’s Chief Financial Officer effective May 2019. Beth comes to Jobcase with more than 16 years of finance and operations experience, most recently as an Operating Partner at Bain Capital Private Equity where she partnered with CEOs, CFOs, and management teams to grow and transform companies.

“The Jobcase team and the whole Jobcase community are thrilled to have Beth join us on this mission to empower the global workforce,” said Fred Goff, founder and CEO of Jobcase. “Fueled by her keen intellect and strong character, Beth’s history of driving world-class results for consumer brands is among the many, many reasons we are excited for her to join the Jobcase leadership team. I am confident she will help us accelerate our success in both empowering Jobcasers on their individual journeys as well as advocating for workers as a whole as we look to bring balance back to capitalism.”

In her decade at Bain Capital Private Equity, Beth focused mainly on high-growth consumer and retail investments. Most recently, she partnered with strong teams from Bob’s Discount Furniture, Burlington Stores, and Canada Goose, and supported successful initial public offerings for Burlington and Canada Goose. Beth also played leadership roles in the Bain Capital’s women’s network and diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Prior to joining Bain Capital Private Equity, Beth was a consultant at the Parthenon Group, a Boston-based business strategy and consulting firm now owned by accounting firm Ernst & Young LLP. Beth holds an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School and a BSE in Operations Research and Financial Engineering and a minor in Computer Science from Princeton University. Additionally, Beth and her husband are parents to two young daughters and are active philanthropists in the Boston area and beyond.

“I am incredibly grateful for my time at Bain Capital and to have contributed to the firm’s long history of building great companies. I am equally excited to bring that experience to my new role at Jobcase,” stated Beth Clymer. “I am deeply inspired by Jobcase’s people-first mission and strong team, and look forward to being a part of this next phase of growth to empower millions of Jobcasers across the country and, eventually, around the world.”
