Potomac, MD and Cheyenne, WY, May 13, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- via NEWMEDIAWIRE -- MJ Biotech, Inc. (f/k/a Michael James Enterprises, Inc.) (OTC: MJTV) announces that the Company has executed a Letter of Intent to explore a strategic relationship with VideoKall, Inc., a new player in telehealth, pioneering the first unmanned micro-clinics for indoor, mobile, and outdoor locations. Once the relationship is formalized, MJ Biotech will raise funds to pursue areas of common interests with market penetration in underserved locations across the US.

VideoKall is planning on production locations in Minnesota and Maryland, plus utilizing satellite and terrestrial telecommunications services for private links between patients and medical staff. VideoKall has strong interests in the retail, senior living, trucking and farm worker markets.

“MJ Biotech provided us with compelling proposition to develop funding and expand our reach into the general market,” added Vince Waterson, the Chairman of the company and co-founder. “Because MJ Biotech has expertise in marketing and funding business development in the biomedical space, we believe they could well prove to be our anchor customer deploying our CLINICSTOP Unmanned Micro Clinic cabins nationwide.”

Charles Nahabedian, CEO of VideoKall, noted, “This guided, self-service, telehealth-assisted platform can also keep the family doctor in the loop. These objectives have been reflected in our development.  Our platform facilitates a new patient, on a single visit, to be triaged, assessed and treated, and if warranted, obtain appropriate prescriptions, referrals and recommendations.”
