TORONTO, Aug. 14, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- On Thursday, Aug. 15, the Fraser Institute will release a new study on gender disparity under the law and the impact on women.
Gender Disparity Under the Law and Women’s Well-Being, part of the Fraser Institute’s ongoing research of women’s well-being worldwide, spotlights the legal restrictions that prevent women from freely engaging in economic activity (owning property, opening a bank account, choosing where to work, etc.) in many countries around the world.
The study also compares the living standards of women in countries such as Canada and the United States with living standards in less-free countries such as Saudi Arabia.
