Vilnius, Aug. 28, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Over two quarters of this year, Medicinos Bankas has earned EUR 1.56 million in net profit, or 2,2 times more than in the same period last year (0,71 million EUR).
Compared with the same period last year, net revenue from service fees and commission grew by 38 per cent and reached EUR 3.2 million, revenue from foreign exchange trading – 2,3 per cent and stood at EUR 2.2 million. Net revenue from interest increased by 10 per cent to EUR 4 million.
Over two quarters of this year, the Bank's loan portfolio grew by 16 per cent and reached EUR 197 million. At the end of the second quarter of 2019, the Bank's assets amounted to EUR 339 million and were 3 per cent higher than on 31 December 2018.
At the end of the second quarter this year, Bank’s obligations to clients amounted to EUR 288 million and were 1 per cent less than on 31 December 2018.
The equity of Medicinos Bankas shareholders grew by 5 per cent from the beginning of 2019 and on 30 June 2019, stood at EUR 32.2 million.
