On 6 December 2018, Competition Authority started supervisory review procedure on AS Tallinna Vesi regarding the water tariffs that the company applies in Tallinn and Saue City. Today, on 21 October 2019, Competition Authority notified the company about the termination of the procedure because there is no reason to continue the supervisory review procedure.
Competition Authority´s supervisory review procedure was linked to the decision to reject the tariff application for Tallinn and Saue City on 4 December 2018. In September 2019, AS Tallinna Vesi had submitted to the Competition Authority a new tariff application, which Competition Authority approved on 18 October 2019. Tallinna Vesi intends to apply the approved tariffs in Tallinn and Saue City from 1 December 2019 onwards. With regard to the above, Competition Authority informed about the decision to terminate the supervisory review procedure.
