GOffee Closes Crowdfunding Round With a Total Raise of $1.07M

Eco-Friendly coffee delivery service is the first company in the food & beverage sector to raise $1M+ on StartEngine and the 8th campaign to reach the max raise amount in 2019

NEW YORK, Oct. 22, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- GOffee, the eco-friendly, B2B coffee and tea delivery service, announced today that the company has closed its crowdfunding round with a total raise of $1.07MM. The GOffee team used the StartEngine platform to raise the funds. The money will be used to grow the business beyond Midtown West and across Manhattan by the end of 2019 and into other cities in 2020. GOffee is the first company in the food & beverage sector to raise $1M+ on StartEngine and the 8th campaign to reach the max raise amount in 2019.

“In addition to being the first food and beverage business to raise the max amount on StartEngine we are also the sixth-fastest crowdfunding campaign to reach $1M+ on the platform," said Vincent Meyer, CEO of GOffee. “Pitching to a huge network of people on one platform offers a much more efficient way to gain access to investors. Our investors have not only become an extension of GOffee they’ve also helped to validate the business model, which is very exciting as we continue to scale the business.”

“I’m thrilled by GOffee’s successful raise,” said Howard Marks, Co-Founder & CEO of StartEngine. “StartEngine’s mission is to help entrepreneurs achieve their dreams, and I hope that Vincent and the GOffee team are able to boost their growth with the capital they raised on StartEngine. I’m excited to see what the future holds for them with thousands of new shareholders to help spread the word about GOffee.”

Each day GOffee drops off drinks in reusable cups that are collected the following day for cleansing. In total GOffee has delivered more than 79,000 drinks since the company launched and has saved more than 19,000 pounds of waste in to-go cups that would have ended up in the trash. GOffee expert baristas prepare coffee and tea drinks from brands that include Think Coffee, Joe’s, Blue Bottle, Toby’s Estate, La Colombe, Stumptown, Cafe Grumpy, Gregory’s Coffee, Madman Espresso, teas from Palais des Thes, and many others.

A company with 30 employees would spend $799/month for the service. Existing customers include 3Q Digital, Braze, AdMaven, Anvyl, DeepIntent, Jeeng, Playbuzz, SmartFlyer, SundaySky, SBH Fashion and Zeno Media.
