Premium Hemp CBD manufacturer Tree of Life Seeds partners with the Arthritis Foundation

The organizations are joining forces to promote arthritis awareness, fund research, and drive community engagement to support arthritis sufferers.

Little Rock, Arkansas, Oct. 22, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Arkansas Arthritis Foundation is partnering with Tree of Life Seeds, Arkansas-based hemp genetics and CBD product manufacturer, to raise awareness for their cause. Together, the two organizations will be working to highlight the foundation’s mission to provide research, advocacy, resources, and community support for arthritis patients and their families.

There are more than 100 types of arthritis that affect over 54 million adults and 300,000 children in the United States. Around 673,000 Arkansans have arthritis. The disease affects the body’s joints and can result in chronic pain that increases in severity over time. Arthritis is one of the top causes of disability in the United States.

One of the main goals for the Arthritis Foundation is to find a cure for arthritis by raising funds for scientific research. Along with supporting research, the foundation is passionate about advocating for patients at both the state and federal levels to improve patient access to essential specialists, treatment plans, and medications. Personal support for patients comes through events such as Jingle Bell Run, social media communities, and educational resources.

The Arthritis Foundation currently publishes Arthritis Today, a magazine that provides its over 4 million readers with health and lifestyle tips geared towards those with arthritis. Additionally, the foundation raises awareness for Juvenile Arthritis (JA) by hosting an annual conference with JA patients and their families and sending children and teens to JA camps across the United States.

On September 24, 2019, the Arthritis Foundation released a guide for arthritis patients on how to find the right CBD products and how to use it safely. CBD (Cannabidiol) is a non-psychoactive chemical compound derived from Cannabis that may have therapeutic benefits such as relieving pain/inflammation, easing anxiety, and decreasing insomnia.

Angela Harris, Executive Director of the Arkansas Arthritis Foundation, said, “We are excited to partner with Tree of Life Seeds knowing their products provide the level of quality our Arthritis Warriors deserve.”

Medical experts worked with the Arthritis Foundation to ensure the guide answered the top questions patients have about taking CBD. The guide was created after the Arthritis Foundation conducted a survey in July, asking people with arthritis their thoughts on using CBD for managing their health. Out of 2600 people surveyed, 79% were either currently using CBD or had used it in the past for alleviating symptoms of arthritis.

The Arkansas Arthritis Foundation chose to pair with Tree of Life Seeds because of their commitment to providing high-quality CBD products for people who are looking to gain the benefits that CBD has to offer.

Tree of Life Seeds CEO Jason Martin said, “We are pleased to be the only CBD company the Arkansas Arthritis Foundation has chosen to pair with. Having the Foundation come out publicly in support of CBD is a monumental step forward for the industry.”

In an industry that can be oversaturated with low quality, falsely advertised products, Tree of Life Seed’s products are made from non-GMO hemp grown in the United States and are both in-house and third party lab tested to certify they have high levels of Cannabidiol and no THC. “We know that the Foundation only recommend the best to their members and are so proud that our products meet their needs,” Martin said. Their broad-spectrum CBD oil is rich with phytocannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids, and nano emulsified for maximum absorption on the skin and in the body. Their products match the Arthritis Foundation’s suggestion to purchase only high-quality, lab-tested CBD products as detailed in their CBD use guide.

Tree of Life Seeds is helping to promote the Arthritis Foundation through social media posting and challenges that individuals can complete in the CBDisLife Platform.
