Vice Executive Officer Lasse Wulff Hansen has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of North Media Aviser A/S as per today 8 November 2019. Lasse Wulff Hansen replaces Steen Gede, who has been with North Media Aviser A/S since 28 February 2019 as acting Chief Executive Officer and as of 1 May 2019 as Chief Executive Officer. The replacement follows the establishment of a new and strong management team, which Lasse Wulff Hansen has been a part of.
”We are convinced that Lasse is the right person to run the strong weekly papers in Copenhagen and North Zealand as well as our daily newspaper Helsingør Dagblad in Elsinore, and to ensure the further development of the digital services. Therefore we have made the agreement with Steen that he will step down as Chief Executive Officer of North Media Aviser A/S and that Lasse will take over. Steen Gede has done a great job for North Media Aviser A/S as well as for North Media A/S during his former membership of the board for many years, for which he deserves our thanks” says Mads Dahl Andersen, Chairman of the Board of Directors of North Media A/S.
In connection with his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of North Media Aviser A/S, Lasse Wulff Hansen will also become a member of the Executive Board of North Media A/S. The Executive Board of North Media A/S will thereafter consist of Kåre Stausø Wigh, Lasse Ingemann Brodt, Henrik Løvig Jensen, Jannik Bray Christensen and Lasse Wulff Hansen.
