About the Author

Veda Duff Tohline grew up on a small farm in south Louisiana, taught school three years, then married a Methodist minister. After rearing their three children, she returned to teaching and retired in 1981. After thirty-six years in church ministry, her husband Dan retired and they settled in their own home in Jonesboro, LA. Veda has been involved in a variety of ministries with children, youth, and adults. She is a self-taught musician, writes poetry, and does art and needlework. Over the past sixteen years, she has read through the Bible more than twenty-five times, referring to commentaries for a better understanding.
