About the Author

Teacher, writer, and poet, Sandra Allbee Lacy, was born and raised in Alamosa, Colorado, with three older brothers. A major in English and Speech-Theater, she took up Secondary Education as a minor and taught in Colorado, then in California after graduating. She has lived in Silverton and Mancos, Colorado; Southern and Central California; Seattle, Washington; Baltimore, Maryland. She currently resides in Denver, with her husband, Chuck. She has three children.
