Xlibris Releases a Dramatic and Enduring True Story About Life in the Insurance Industry

KEY LARGO, Fla., June 16, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- An astonishing story about family, career, hard work and the strength of the human spirit is coming to touch your heart as Xlibris releases The Daenzer Story, a compelling new true story from author Carolyn I. Furlong, CPCU, CLU.

The Daenzer Story is a love story, a war story, a tale of rags to riches, an epic saga of monumental inventions in an industry on which every aspect of our economy depends, and ultimately a tale of greed and chicanery that shook the foundation of a three hundred year old institution. Readers will be introduced to Bernard Daenzer, a man called by many as "A Man of Many Firsts." Daenzer is the first non-Briton underwriting member of Lloyd's of London and he invented the first homeowners package policy, the first pollution liability and cleanup policy and many others.

With his brilliant contributions to society, he leaves his mark on several Catholic churches as well as institutions such as the Society of CPCU, the College of Insurance, the Insurance Hall of Fame, Fordham College and many others. Not only will readers be amazed by his outstanding career, they will also feel the love and drama behind his devotion to Valerie, his beloved wife of sixty-three years, and to his family.

Realistic and richly-layered, The Daenzer Story is an enduring and uplifting drama that brings to life mankind's search for meaning, happiness, respect and love. Through the experiences of the protagonists, lessons about morality, perseverance and innovation are deeply expressed which readers will be able to understand and relate with. This story will win the hearts of many readers, especially career-minded people, students, educators, lawyers and people from the insurance industry. To order a copy of Carolyn I.
