All Media Guide Announces New Services Through Partnership With BiggerBoat

BiggerBoat's Entertainment Advertising Network and Comparison Shopping Engine Brings New Opportunities to AMG's Web Community

ANN ARBOR, Mich., Aug. 8, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- All Media Guide (AMG), the premier technology and content database provider for exploring music, movies, and games, today announced it has entered into a partnership with entertainment search and discovery engine BiggerBoat. All Media Guide websites will now feature entertainment advertising and comparison shopping powered by BiggerBoat. AMG intends to incorporate BiggerBoat's entertainment search engine later this year.

All Media Guide introduced BiggerBoat's entertainment advertising and comparison shopping recently in a pilot program on their AllMusic.com and AllMovie.com sites. More than a dozen major record labels and home video distributors and a dozen online retail partners participated in the program, which provided entertainment specific advertisements to consumers. Presented as sponsored recommendations, the ads are consistent with the types of content consumers are viewing on AllMusic.com or AllMovie.com.

Since introducing BiggerBoat on its websites, All Media Guide has quadrupled revenues for its online retail partners and has tripled the average click-though rate for its advertisers.
