The Supervisory Board of Kemira Oyj appointed the present Board of Directors of the company for the new term of office from 1 January 2002 on.
As Chairman of the Board continues Sten-Olof Hansén, D.Sc. (Econ.), Professor of international marketing, Turku School of Economics and Business Administration. As Vice Chairman of the Board continues Niilo Pellonmaa, M.Sc. (Econ.), member of the Board of Jaakko Pöyry Group Oyj and Finvest Oyj.
The other members of the Board will be:
Eija Malmivirta, M.Sc.(Eng.), Chairman of the Board, Merei Energy Oy Ltd;
Anssi Soila, M.Sc.(Eng.& Econ.), Chairman of the Board, Sponda Oyj;
Ritva Hainari, M.Sc. (Econ., Eng.), Ministry of Trade and Industry,
and Tauno Pihlava, M.Sc.(Eng.), CEO, Kemira Oyj.
