Photo 2.

Examples of intense alteration in volcanics which form the valley cover immediately above the Kawich IP anomaly shown in Figures 1 and 2. The colloform silica veins with a silica-hematite selvage trend northeast, sympathetic to controlling structures for silver and copper showings in the range to the east. Theses rocks have high barite and manganese contents indicative of a high level chemical zonation related to a CRD/porphyry driver and source. The high temperature veins in these photos grade outwards into a lower temperature alteration assemblage of montmorillonite and bright teal celadonite, a potassium rich mica mineral.
