Tuffisite breccia has crosscutting, polyphase veins of banded silica and adularia (yellow), and strong silica and adularia replacement of groundmass, with a sericite and clay overprint. Primary rhyolite tuff is evident in the upper part of the cut slab that is stained with cobaltinitrite for potassium.
