Dead seabird

Dead seabird

This seabird is just one of the many victims of the plastic disaster. Tens of thousands of individual marine organisms have been observed suffering from entanglement or ingestion of plastics – from zooplankton, corals and fish, to sea turtles, marine mammals and seabirds. It is estimated that more than 90 per cent of all seabirds have ingested plastics.
