Sample from the southwestern end of the 2km long conductor shown in Figure 1. The coarse grained mafic rock texture contains disseminated or interstitial pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite, which typically respond well to IP surveys. The high magnesium content of these rocks is characteristic of a ‘sanukitoid’, which is an important class of intrusive rock for Archean gold deposits in Ontario.
