Historic work in the 1970’s only scratched the surface of the large alteration zone in welded tuff which caps the hilltop at Amsel. VR plans to drill a new IP anomaly on the unexplored western and southwestern flank of the hill in 2022 to test for the central root and source of the low-sulfidation epithermal system responsible for the large alteration footprint exposed on surface at Amsel, with widespread gold in soil (see Figure 1b).
