Apache Corporation presents a $1 million matching-grant check to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation (TPWF) Jan. 24, 2019. The presentation marks the culmination of a $2 million fundraising effort led by TPWF for Balmorhea State Park pool repairs. The pool was closed in early 2018 following a structural collapse of a wall caused by years of erosion from the flow of water from the springs.
