The gravel air strip at Sødalen is also indicated. The coastal part near Mikis Hus in Mikis Fjord is considered one of the prime locations for future infrastructure for a mining operation at Skaergaard. IC Jacobsen Fjord is surveyed for its potential for a secondary safe anchoring site for larger vessels.
