Jyske Bank's consolidated accounts 2007
- PROFIT BEFORE TAX DKK 2,273 MILLION
- core earnings before impairment charges rose by 38% to DKK 2,656m
- Impairment charges of DKK 74m; for 2006 the item was an income of DKK 348m
- Up by 14%, core earnings reached a new record, DKK 2,579m
- Loss of DKK 339m on own securities portfolio net of funding costs
- Profit before tax equates to a return of 23.6% on opening shareholders' funds
- Loans and advances increased by 16% (exclusive of repo transactions)
and deposits by 27% (inclusive of pooled deposits)
- The liquidity reserve amounted to almost DKK 36bn; at end-2006 they
amounted to DKK 19bn
- Capital policy and targets for 2008 remain unchanged
- Core earnings for 2008 before impairment charges are expected to be in
the range of DKK 2.3bn-2.7bn
