BE Group Finland is extending its capacity in production services

BE Group, the Nordic region's leading independent trading and service
company in steel and other metals, is investing SEK 14 M in increased
production service capacity. The investment is being made at the
company's facility in Lahti, Finland.

“Once the investment has been fully implemented, we will have one of
northern Europe's most modern production service facilities for steel
products,” says Roger Johansson, CEO of BE Group AB. “We are extending
our capacity to thus become a better partner to our customers, offering
shorter delivery times and even better quality.”

By further augmenting and modernizing its equipment, BE Group will be
able to meet the Finnish market's demands for increasingly advanced
production services. The investment is scheduled to be completed by the
end of the second quarter of 2011. The investment also represents a step
in meeting increasing demand for the Set Package offering developed by
BE Group Finland. This concept provides customers with all of the steel
products they need for their production in a single delivery ready for
immediate use in the customer's manufacturing process.

In 2009, BE Group implemented another major investment at the Lahti
facility with the construction of a new production unit that enhances
production and warehousing through features including a new high bay
storage unit.

“Our value-adding production service provides the opportunity to
increase our service sales and improve our deliveries while also
enabling us to strengthen our relations with the Group's key customers,”
