The takeover of the tissue operations in Europe by Svenska Cellulosa
Aktiebolaget SCA, Stockholm, the mother company of SCA Hygiene Products AG,
Munich, offers the Group the opportunity to realize significant synergies
within the product portfolio and the production structure to enhance
competitiveness.

SCA Hygiene Products have set up a restructuring program for the Tissue
operations. The costs for these measures, including impairments for some
non-current assets, will have an one-time-effect on the results for 2007.
